| Apr 29, 2026 | I was recently awarded two pilot grants from the Michigan Center for Contextual Factors in Alzheimer’s Disease (MCCFAD) and the Center to Accelerate Population Research in Alzheimer’s (CAPRA), focusing on life-course marital history and cognitive aging, and on historical racial regimes and regional disparities in AD/ADRD. Excited to work on these projects and learn along the way in the coming academic year. ⭐️ |

| Nov 24, 2025 | Recently, I had two visits: one at the Department of Sociology at the University of Wisconsin, Madison and another at the Department of Sociology at the University of Texas at Austin. I shared my ongoing work on internal migration and the demography of loneliness in China, and received thoughtful questions that are helping me revise the paper further. I’m grateful to everyone who hosted me and coordinated these visits. |
